Will there be another lockdown in Gujarat? Find out what CM Rupani announced?

Talking to reporters, Chief Minister Rupani said that there is no talk of lockdown in Gujarat. As a precautionary measure, adequate curfew has been maintained in Ahmedabad on Saturdays and Sundays.

Ambaji: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani along with his wife Anjaliben have come to see Mataji at Ambaji. He then made a statement on the issue of curfew and starting schools in Ahmedabad. "The decision on starting schools will be taken at the next meeting," Rupani said. The transition to corona has increased in the state. Rumors of lockdown in Gujarat were refuted. The government is ready to fight Corona, he said.

Speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Rupani said that there was no talk of lockdown in Gujarat. As a precautionary measure, adequate curfew has been maintained in Ahmedabad on Saturdays and Sundays. There will be a curfew in Ahmedabad from 9 pm tonight to 6 am on Monday. The state government has taken this decision as the transition to Corona is on the rise. There will be curfew in Ahmedabad all day on Saturday and Sunday. In the meantime, services including milk, medicine, medical emergency will continue. All other activities will be stopped. However, following the announcement of the public curfew, people are rushing to buy essentials. Crowds of people are seen at malls and shops. Even though the public curfew is only for two days, people have started collecting items.

The curfew will end at 6 am on Monday but will resume from midnight, meaning the curfew will remain in place from Monday until further notice in Ahmedabad. Which will be in force from 9pm to 6am.

The 60-hour curfew in Ahmedabad on Saturdays and Sundays is enough for Ahmedabad city only. Work will continue as usual in all other cities of the state. The government has taken this decision to prevent the spread of the ever-spreading corona.
