Earlier, the government had banned 57 Chinese apps after the June 15 violent clashes in Galwan. Then on July 28, 47 apps were banned. Now for the third time the government has banned 118 apps. So far, the government has banned 224 Chinese apps.

PUBG is very popular in Indian youth

Of the 118 apps the government has banned, PUBG is the most talked about. While the Indian youth are very much behind PUBG, there have been many violent incidents due to PUBG. In addition to PUBG, applications such as Baidu Express Edition, Face U p Inspire Your Beauty, Voo Meeting, Super Clear, WeChat Reading, Cyber ​​Hunder have been banned.

The central government has taken a big decision. It has decided to ban 118 mobile apps including PUBG. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has decided to ban these mobile apps under Section 69A. The ministry has taken this decision to ban after receiving many complaints. The statement issued said that these apps were a threat to national security.

The Indian government had earlier banned many apps in China, including TicketLock. In the end of June, India banned 59 mobile apps from China, including TickTalk, Halo. Later in late July, 47 more Chinese apps were banned.
