Announcing the increase in the fine for the mask, Vijay Rupani said that the state government has discussed it after the Gujarat High Court's knock. And as per the judgment of the High Court, a fine of Rs 100 will be levied on the state for not wearing a mask from tomorrow. The state will impose a fine of Rs 1,000 on those who do not wear masks in public from Tuesday, August 11.

Vijay Rupani further said, "I appeal to all the citizens of Gujarat not to go out and crowd during the upcoming festivals including Janmashtami." As the Corona outbreak is so widespread, all citizens stay home and celebrate the festival to prevent such an outbreak. Controlling the corona is in our hands.
